All About Us: Who? How? Why? Wow!

Aloha all,

It's Keala! Small town dreamer and owner of Da Mean Bean here in heavenly Hana. Aloha and welcome to our kope (coffee) site and mahalo nui (thank you) for taking some time in learning more about who we are and how we became.

We are most importantly a ‘ohana (family) unit part of this incredible community. We are also mama doers and daddy farmers raising keiki roamers and frolickers of the land and sea. And happily somewhere in between ALL of that we are all (even our keiki/kids) 100% coffee lovers too. Rooted in 2022 and executed in 2023 Da Mean Bean came to life by the grace of time and lost. I always believed in The Universe brewing its magic and all in good time that's what happened. March 2023 I went from nothing to a 3x5 lil coffee beaner opening its door that June! Now we are in the process of finishing up our newest BEAN MACHINE real soon. A bigger trailer (5.5 x 11) that is to be swapped with our lil' Girly Pop.

Living in paradise doesn’t always burst with opportunity so when one does present itself you JUMP. By no means has it been easy but it has been our best journey yet and after 2 years this family business has been about so much more than just COFFEE.
